Germantown HELP is a non-profit organization that offers deliveries of emergency food, prescription assistance and holiday help to residents of Germantown, Maryland (zip codes 20874 and 20876). The emergency food program provides approximately three days’ worth of food to individuals and families. The program is supported by local churches (including St. Nick’s), schools and organizations through food drives, cash donations, etc. Our church can help this wonderful organization by bringing in non-perishables and supporting the holiday gift card drives. Food items that are ALWAYS needed (because they are part of the standard package clients) are:

· breakfast cereal
· spaghetti sauce
· peanut butter & jelly
· tuna fish and other canned meats
· canned fruits, vegetables and soups
· rice and pasta

Thank you in advance for your help

Host a Sunday– We need hosts and goodie providers for the fellowship after Sunday services. The host is responsible for set up & clean up. Goodie providers can drop off their donation and help as able with set up & clean up. Goodies do not need to be elaborate, but as simple as cookies, and snacks. For more information or to sign up contact Meg Milligan or Marguerite Johnson
