10:00am – Palm Sunday Communion Service. Join us as we reenact the day when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey, people gathered along the way, welcomed him as a hoped-for liberator, strewing palm branches in his path. It is a festive and interactive service that will engage people of all ages.

March 24 | Maundy Thursday

6:30pm – Maundy Thursday Meal and Communion. On a Thursday night in Jerusalem, centuries ago, around the eve of the Passover, Jesus gathered his disciples for one last Passover meal. It is called Maundy Thursday after the Latin word for “commandment,” which Is “maundatum,” because it was this “Last Supper” that he gave his disciples his final commandment, “Love one another, as I have loved you.” We begin at 6:30pm with Fellowship & Foot Washing, followed at 7:00pm with a Maundy Thursday meal, and we close with Communion at 8:00pm.  Join us!

March 25 | Good Friday

On Good Friday, we remember Jesus suffering, crucifixion, and death at the hands of the religious and civil authorities. The term Good Friday was once called “God Friday” because it was the day we learned how terribly far God would go to redeem humankind. There are three services on Good Friday:

10:00am – Experiential Station of the Cross Service (for children and young families). At this interactive, child-friendly service, we focus on presenting the Stations of the Cross in words and actions children understand.

12:00pm – Noonday Solemn Service. At this traditional service we remember Jesus’ suffering and join in saying together the ancient “Solemn Collects.”

FB Event Cover - Stations with Tenebrae7:30pm – Tenebrae Re-Imagined. This service combines two traditional services: the Stations of the Cross and Tenebrae (lit., “darkening”). We begin with 14 lit candles at the altar, along with the Christ Candle. As we visit each station, another candle is extinguished, until only the Christ Candle is left. A moving service.
